heh yep!!! i got this recyclable sketchbook at my local art store, i saw it and grabbed it really quick. i love the color and texture of it too, anywhoo enough of me it's too late

good night at disney

boy what a night! went to disney animation and saw some really great stuff. spoke with a lot of students as well, people from our sister school in san diego, and some charming girls from loyola marymount university. hope to hear from you guys soon!

anywhoo, here's some old stuff from the pass i did. a few character designs and some backgrounds i did for our studio class last term, along with the guidance of my friend bobby walker.

zipper boy, sketches and disney studio

hola everybody!!

well just got home and i'm beat, good thing is school is going good so far and it's my third week in and not as stressed like i was last quarter, so that's good. the only thing to worry about these days is my demo reel, which i'm working on already. so...yes yes here's some more characters, first is zipperboy, my little creep who is part of my m00ksville project. some of his things like his television, car, and couch. these all done with sharpie and prisma markers, with a white prisma pencil for the highlights. next is more sketchbook pro sketches i did on saturday with my friend bobby of random stuff. that program is really good, so try it out. anywhoo, my everwonder boy's bobby and ivan, are going to be attending a event at the disney animation studios over in burbank, held by the wonderful ladies "Women in Animation" guild. i believe disney will be showing some upcoming t.v animation
shorts, so it should be cool. after that we're gonna network like crazy. well that's it for me, i got compositing in the morning so i need my beauty sleep

uncle uncle, rawr rawr, omg bowling

hola cola everybody!!

as you heard on my partner in crime bobby walker over at his blog, we are currently designing characters for our pre-production class. it is about a little girl who tries everything in the book to get the stubborn tooth out of her mouth. it takes a uncle, a very strong string and a brick to make it happen...yeah you fill in the blanks. but yes i'll show you my designs and some other stuff as well. anywhoo, anybody out there went bowling? well do you remember the first time you went? well i'll remember mine because it was my very first time. my girlfriend took me bowling last night and i had a blast. first, we got to the place and got a lane. then we got the cool looking shoes. i wore my beat up shoes not knowing we had to give one up to the person to hold. i was mortified account of my shoes being dirty and smelly! anywhoo, we got to our lane, and my girl told me to go pick a ball. i was guessing at the time for the size of my fingers. so i picked my lucky weapon that i would strike the evil white pins. there i was ready to go....i felt like it was just me and the pins, silence around me, i adjust the best position to throw my heavy partner down the slick waxy surface. i wind up and i throw the ball!!!!!.....as i release, my eyes widened knowing i will get a strike. the ball hits the surface hard and rolls hard right into the gutter!! my eyes shut! and i hear laughter everywhere around me. the silence is gone and i go back down to reality. lol. not only did i have a gutter ball, i broke two nail in the process. what a girly man lol. later that night after the game was finish, my girl told me that there was different pounds to the bowling balls, and i had a pretty heavy one. i was like what?! there's lighter ones?!?! man, i could've bowled better, i just know it. next time...oh yes next time.....bwahahahaha!!

well....no. but it sure is cool to mess with it. my friend bobby and i were in a classroom today and we were doing our demo reel, he busted out the sketchbook pro and i went to town with it....well. sorta. anywhoo, the fat face guy in the center is mine, the other drawings were done by my other friends edgar and A.j.

a gangster story

hola amigos and amigas!!

well here's some new stuff up at last. it's a little project i'm working on with my chums bobby and ivan. over at our group blog Ever Wonder which by the way is our little design/ pre-production studio thingy that we're trying to do, so check us out! but yes the project's about gangsters, i'll explain more over at the other blog. anywhoo it's two thirty in the morning and i must get up around seven to go get my oil change right before my trip to vegas...well today heh. ah yes vegas. i don't really gamble much so i'll be just walking a lot and doing the tourist'y thing. oh and hit the buffets *smiles* so yeah i'll be posting more to keep up with my pal bobby.

it's been some quarter at school, i'm sorry for the lack of post and art. this break will be chalk full of art so don't you worry. i have just returned from a trip to san diego with my family and when i was online i see my friend bobby walker over at his blog had posted some of the beautiful backgrounds he and his underlings such as myself done from our short we did called freak show that we did with other classmates. but yeah, enough of me yappin time for the art

hola amigos and amigas!!

well well well, i am finally posting on my dearly missed blog. school was taking all my time and i apologize for the lack of new art not being posted on the blog. it's been crazy but i got through this quarter. now, one week has passed from my three week break and christmas is coming quite rapidly in our sites. did you finish your christmas shopping? i have two more people to buy for that i will do today and i am done. woohoo! nothing like a mad rush to the stores looking for parking and dealing with crazy shoppers. good thing is that i've been seeing some real cool faces and shapes looking at all these people and it's been giving me a itch to draw them all. speaking which i have been drawing so i'll be putting up some new stuff up soon. but today i will posting my 3d maya model of my character i did in one of my classes this quarter. his name is duncan and he's a 'hard working' kinda guy.

happy post halloween!!!

hola mi amigas and ami'ghouls!!!

tis is post halloween and the night was good with the creepy crawlers dominating the night. my family went trick'o treatin collect delicious sugary confections. my lovely girl dressed up as a gothic raggity ann, while our little one jadeyn dressed up as bell from beauty and the beast. yours truly donned the most coolest outfit ever i was a killer b!!! i provided a image of what the costume looked like. i'll post some actual halloween pictures a little later.

hmmmm, whatelse.....ah yes! my friends and i attended the women in animation organizations special meeting held at the beautiful dreamworks animation studio in glendale about how to make a animation short. the attendees was packed and the guest comprised of people from disney television animation, mytoons, frederator, and nickelodeon. they had very good info about pitching ideas to the studio and the do's and don'ts of how to present your animation short. a good night was held by all *smiles*

hola mi amigos and amigas!!!

i am back after almost a month!......a month?!! yes yes. i know. i miss my blog. but last time i posted i said i was going down to san diego. that i must say was relaxing and nice. my family and i mostly hung around balboa park which is a center chock full of art museums, beautiful architecture and lush gardens. the place was amazing and the history behind san diego was very interesting. oh we also ate at this really great mexican restaurant there called casa madera i believe. that place had really really good food. i have pictures i probably post up soon. but for now some art....oh wait! one more thing. last week my girlfriend and i attended gris grimmly's new art exhibit that was held at the van eaton gallery up in sherman oaks which is a cool little gallery that showcases animation art and the likes...anywhoo, the art show was named "Bop Pills" named after "the Cramps" song and it was all about gris's experience with the medical field. but yes we have some photos i will show soon. now....for some art
