how's everyone doing? well i myself just got back from a awesome awesome trip to yosemite national park. we visited everything from mariposa grove where the giant sequoias are all the way up to glacier point to see half dome. let me tell ya when you take a trail all the way up on top of a mountain...you really put life into perspective. i'll try and upload a few pictures here and there when i post.

which comes to my next thing......NEW SKETCHYS!!!!! clap clap clap!!! i did these suckers in my room when we were rained in one day. all were halloween themed or just spooky ooky horror stuff which i personally love drawing :) so...to that note....ON TO THE SKETCHYS!!

how is everyone doing? well here's a little painting sketch of a fuzzy mook type thingy. Did two versions one with lighting study and one with none. just wanted to post them both.

anywhoo, i will be going on the analog side and do some drawings..which i think i do best...and maybe tackle painting over them in photoshop...which i can't do really well yet. so, any critiques, comments,...heck even concerns, spit it out to me and i will be all ears. :)

how is everyone doing? first off i would like to thank the people out there who decided to follow my little ole blog and checks out my stuff from time to time. it means a lot to me. just want to say thank you :)

so here's an update finally. still been on my quest with the digital paint. this particular one was a value study. i'm trying to keep in mind to keep it at least three values. i'm not sure i did it here heh.

anywhoo, went to the little art show at Disney Animation studio yesterday evening, where lorelay bove had some painting she had done while on vacation. very nice stuff by a very nice young woman. actually saw glen keane there and was geeking out like a fanboy lol.

after the show my brother and i decided to wing it and go to melrose ave to see what was going on over there. saw jay leno interviewing infront of a bar/restaurant called the village idiot, where he was interviewing random people on the street. very cool indeed. after flipping out watching jay we headed across the street to the vinyl toy store munkey king to see what was going on there...low and behold there was a launch party happening there for the artist dave pressler. good vibe, good music and good artwork. ya can't get any better than that eh.

oh wait, then i got news by email from victoria ying that i have won a raffle from her blog and that i get to choose two outta three prints of a series of retro paintings! so yes life is good :)

I added some guy characters to the mix to have a balance and i think overall i'm pretty please on how this turned out...finally. so yeah hoorah for me and all that good ish. more to come guv'nas

oh and this is a painting i did on my ipod touch. it's a cool app called brushes. it's a very cool app and you could do little quick paintings on the go. i highly recommend it!

So I'm waiting for this book to come out next week and i wanted to get some info on it, and found this guy who does reviews for art books. Since he lives in Singapore he got a copy early...grrrr. anywhoo, he gives his two pesos about the book and took some video of him flipping through it. it looks good and i can't wait to get my mittens on that sucker.
