Twin tag team sketchup

Hola Amigos and Amigas!

How is everyone doing? I hope everyone had a great weekend. So, my family and I, all last week were doing some spring cleaning....wait...hardcore spring cleaning, like getting a big ole dumpster and throwing alot of stuff away, and donating alot of old clothes to the salvation army. anywhoo...we decided to take a trip to vegas to unwind and chill. I for one do not gamble but do love the environment. so long walks and observing people was loads of fun. people talk some crazy stuff when they are drunk. lol

so...me and my twin brother Wesley...yes i have one and he is identical (although ever since school I gained a little weight) when back in the room, decided to do a tag team drawing that we didn't do in awhile. Wes is an awesome artist and is the reason I am drawing today. I remember back in the day he loved to draw a lot and I noticed that he got some good attention for that....now, I'm not saying I was neglected growing up, mind you lol, I was loved by my parents hehehe but when he drew, my little ass got jealous so I drew too hahaha.

Fast forward to the future, He still remains to draw (beautifully might I add) to this day. His style is way different than mine but got some mad mad skillz and I admire his style tremendously. He is a bit shy showing his stuff. but maybe someday i'll snap some pictures when he's not looking and post it here hehehe. anywhoo, hope you likes and I'll be posting frequently soon my peeps!

SMILE IT UP!

ye ole m00k!

p.s he's gonna kill me lol

edit// added some of his pages from his sketchbook he's doing right now

Hola Wayne!! Oooooh loved the story ^_^!!!

He has an amazing style!! How cool must it be to have a someone so close to you draw and as an inspiration source. He mustn't kill you!!! I need to talk to him if he does want to tho...

How are you? I'm doing good! Got a bit sick over the weekend, it's going better now, I do need to rest more, but can't really since I have another meeting with my professors!

Can't wait to see new drawings from you!

Ciao!

i used to love those recycled paper sketchbooks. really fun. you should try painting on thise pages with gouache. it looks awesome. it really makes your paint pop like crazy. your characters would really look good on it. If you try it be sure to scan it id like to see.

as to your suggestion about putting up flyers about a drawing thing....baltimore is a pretty small city. their isnt really any animation industry out here, i only know of one studio with a handful of people..and when it comes to people that do work similar to you and i, its slim pickins..hard to fid local inspiration. hopefully ill be comin out to cali one day.
